Most helpful customer reviews 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Poor Performance W/Blu-Ray By Confederate Perhaps future updates will help, but it's probably a hardware issue. It's a fairly new drive and rejects many Blu-Ray disks. Of course, Blu-Ray uses very obstinate copy protection, which interferes with the playing of disks. Expect this drive to reject a significant number of Blu-Ray offerings. Performance for CD/DVD is satisfactory, but get the firmware upgrade. The current version is 1.07. Am looking forward to 1.08, but Pioneer makes it very difficult to get firmware updates, so it won't be easy. I get mine at the European site. In the meantime, go with something else.
