Hall This enclosure provides a simple way to make use of that internal drive that you replaced with an upgrade or salvaged from an retired computer. In my case, I had bought a new computer, and had a DVD-R drive left over that I wanted to use with my office computer, which only had a CD drive. When this enclosure arrived, it came with clear instructions for opening the case and installing the drive. Everything fits together nicely and the case has a small fan, on/off switch and power light, too. The case may be used with any 5.25" full-size HD, CD, or DVD drive.
