Nowak In my first review I noted that this unit would not play blu-ray disks but played dvd nicely by simply connecting a USB. I added 5V 1.9 amps to the unit, and it now plays blu ray nicely. It works, but barely By Michael Graham First off i had to buy a $100 program (powerdvd) so that it would play blu-rays and i just assumed that a program like that would have come with the player. Second i am using it on my laptop and it will only play through my laptop speakers. Not only was it way cheaper than a $200+ RW drive It was a true plug-and-play player. It comes with a temporary media player (Good for 30 Days with an option to purchase) But with plenty of other affordable and free player programs available, this shouldn't be an issue.
