Big Blu-ray player for the price of $ 100 for Fergie this is a great Blu-ray reading and burning DVDs thin portable device. It will power itself directly from the USB, so you do not have other contacts. I have many expensive devices from Lenovo and HP, who are as fun and not Blu-ray. My only complaint is more about Blu-ray itself. First you have any kind of software (CyberLink and Intervideo WinDVD), but especially one that supports Blu-ray, which is a little expensive that nothing comes with the device that can play Blu-ray out of the box to buy. You also need a good computer to new generation Blu-ray discs in an efficient manner. I have a machine with a GMA965, but the video is a bit choppy, but on my T500 with discrete Radeon HD cards that will go to the Intel 4-series chipsets and not busy. Playing Blu-ray discs always pound on radeon, nothing less than a Radeon HD or very new 9-series nVidia probably have a hard time, or may not play a Blu-ray disc at all to be sure of anything that can play discs. Honestly, I'll probably replace my computer before I replace this drive since it is a very useful and versatile optical drive 32 of 32 people found the following review is helpful. Bargin solution for the Mac By J. Francis, has this to be an excellent solution for backing Blu Ray discs on my iMac. OS X will recognize naive and you can easily use third party software available to extract nice avi files. The unit is of good quality and I think it's an unmarked Panasonic / Matsushita.
