Razon When I first saw this unit, I have second doubts getting it. I make a lot of short films for myself and for my family and friends but I need something to burn it in HD quality video. A AVCHD-DVD is too short and it has a small capacity to make one in a DVD-R. I heard good things about blu-rays and people are eager to know if the Macbook Pro can support the hardware. Luckily I got this one, tried on my Macbook Pro.... VIOLA! It worked! I used Roxio Toast Titanium Pro for burning BD-R with my Macbook Pro. On my netbook, the device worked (and I was using Windows XP Pro!). I can burn files and read them from the unit. The disadvantage of burning files from my netbook to the blu-ray is it takes more time to burn them on disc. Never thought it took me more than an hour and a half to burn on a 25gb 4x BD-R (using the latest Nero Burning software, I forgot the version number) But still, it was worth it! I recommend this to the people who love making videos on their Mac and needs a burner to make High Definition videos on a Blu-ray Discs. See all 1 customer reviews....
