My brief review of the WU Welly I bought this ASUS SBW-06C1S-U, because I bought an ASUS notebook PC N61JV-X2 with Microsoft's Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I subscribe to Netflix, with the possibility of renting Blu- ray as an optional extra. I looked at several other competing manufacturers such as Buffalo Technology and Sony, but I decided this ASUS SBW-06C1S-U to get because the reputation of the brand. Before deciding to buy, make sure that your PC supports HDCP, a visit to the site and download and install Cyberlink Cyberlink BD & 3D Advisor tool. Run this tool to check if your PC is up to standard. The best of my knowledge, Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and Windows 7 Home Premium and above support HDCP. This unit comes standard with an AC adapter and cable, the device itself, and a high-speed USB 2.0 mini cable. Great writer and a good price for SquallMX (crap) English: work as expected, is the software package right (but I recommend ImgBurn to burn a disc, and Total Media Theater to watch movies on DVD and Blu-Ray) The only drawback is the need for some two USB ports (no hub) to the right.
